This will involve Platinum Sound Publishing helping to source both songwriters and artists, who will benefit from an initial development phase in conjunction with industry leaders, Peermusic.
This presents both companies with an exciting opportunity to springboard artists into the new decade by joining a wealth of talented songwriters and performers under the Peermusic umbrella. Both parties will be investing their considerable joint resources in finding and developing new talent.
“I have been a great supporter of the ACM for many years and I continue to be impressed with the talent and enthusiasm of the people who emerge from the Academy. Having already worked on various projects with the Platinum Music team I am delighted to have formalised this relationship, which brings together peer’s global administrative and creative strength with the opportunity to work with the new talent which Platinum has nurtured” says Nigel Elderton, Managing Director of Peermusic (UK) Ltd.
The co-publishing agreement is a unique opportunity. Artists will have extensive support from both Peermusic and Platinum Sound Publishing. This includes a 12-month period for personal and professional development. Both companies share the belief that great artists do not just spring up overnight, and so are committed to helping artists grow steadily within a fast-paced environment.
Claire Welch, Music and Print Publishing Manager at Platinum Sound publishing said: “By allying ourselves to Peermusic’s renowned expertise in the industry and with their highly dedicated staff and international reach, we hope to offer writers and artists considerable benefits. Platinum Sound Publishing is able to give personalised support to artists during the early stages of their careers, and we believe that together with Peermusic, we can develop their talent both carefully and successfully.”
